I was keen to attend a meeting on wind energy in parliament this week to hear about developments in offshore wind as a source of renewable energy. In the run up to COP27 it will be vital to redouble our efforts to save the planet and meet our carbon obligations.

Dr Lisa Cameron MP supports Muscular Dystrophy Campaign This week in parliament spent time meeting with those who have Muscular Dystrophy in my capacity as Chair of the Disability All Party Parliamentary Group. They are launching a campaign for better support and care which I fully support.
It was a stark meeting with campaigners this week who were able to show the rise in deaths from epilepsy and health interventions needed at an early stage to prevent these. It was fantastic to attend the Poppy Scotland concert and fundraiser this weekend with my husband Mark who is South Lanarkshire Council’s Veteran’s Champion.
