Dr Lisa Cameron recently met with the John Wright and its staff presenting them with an early day motion to honour their 50th Anniversary
Lisa said
“It was my pleasure during recess this week to go down to the John Wright Sports Centre to meet with staff and management to present them with a special commemorative motion I lodged in the House of Commons for their 50th Anniversary.
What a fantastic amount of service staff at South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have given throughout this time, it is wonderful to see it recognised alongside the creative vision of John Wright for East Kilbride during the pivotal time of our EK Development Corporation.”
